Not to mention the 10s, the AnOthers, the Jalouses, the Russhes, the LOVEs, all the scrappy upstarts who should be your mere handmaidens, happy to so much as lick Anna Wintour’s boot, or be shoved aside by Andre’s massive fur-draped shoulders — and yet!! — who so often upstage you, like the bookwormish girl at school, who emerges in September a swan.
